The primary focus of the Social Services program (Circle of Harmony) is to improve the quality of life by providing trauma-informed services and programs that improve life skills while promoting self-sufficiency, family unity, and economic stability. The Circle of Harmony also protects tribal children and prevents the placement of children away from tribal families by conducting assessments, prioritizing needs, and advocating for clients.
The Mental Health program (Circle of Hope) addresses the emotional, psychological, and social needs of tribal members and their families by planning and implementing trauma-informed services and programs. Promoting community awareness related to mental disorders and available treatments as well as offering comprehensive outpatient mental health and psychiatric services, is also a crucial part of Circle of Hope.
The Alcohol and Substance Abuse program (Circle of Healing) promotes culturally responsive trauma-informed prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation opportunities for children, youth, and adults, all while highly encouraging a drug-free community. The Division also offers a comprehensive array of preventative, educative, and treatment services to reduce the incidence and prevalence of alcohol and substance abuse.
