The Tribal Clearance Agency (TCA) was formed in 2017 to centralize background screenings across all sectors of the Pueblo in accordance with established policies and procedures. TCA will conduct background investigations on Pueblo government program applicants (as required), employment appointees, individuals already employed, consultants, contractors, and volunteers in a manner that protects the interests of the tribal community along with vulnerable populations including children and elders. Coordinating a unified background screening system reduces the potential for abuse of the public trust and ensures uniformity and fairness for all individuals that require to have a character background investigation while determining suitability for employment and program eligibility. TCA is represented by a Manager, an Investigator and an Intake Specialist.
