Education and Libary Center
The Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Education Department was established to meet tribal member educational development needs. This department provides various education support programs to assist tribal members (and descendants) to attain their educational goals. The Education Department aids tribal members to seek and obtain financial aid to attend accredited post-secondary educational institutions. The department also ascertains alternative sources of funding and education awareness campaigns.

The Pueblo has remained steadfast in its commitment to provide for the education of its tribal members. It has grown into a distinguished agency that has been commended for its improvements to tribal education and received national recognition by the Bureau of Indian Affairs Johnson-O’Malley Program. The department continues to serve as a model program for other Native American education programs.
The Education Department provides tribal members with after school tutoring services for grade school, middle school, and high school students. It also provides literacy and computer education for adults and children.
