This program is focused on empowering Tigua youth in a cultural respective way to engage in healthy decisions and lifestyle practices that will prevent sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS by providing them with health education. These classes are offered in strictly confidential environment to allow tribal youth to engage in real discussions about the decisions and behaviors that can impact their health and their future.  The sessions examine both the positive and negative impacts to youth ages 13 to 19 and provides them with accurate health education on topics that can be difficult to address.  If you are interested or have questions about the program please contact the Health Education Program.
