Health Education Services

The goal of the Health Education Program is to create a culture of wellness among the Tigua community by developing, coordinating, implementing, and disseminating effective health promotion interventions.

The Vision

 To develop an effective Health Education Program that addresses the areas specific to Native American and Tigua health concerns that are directly affecting the community.  The vision of the Health Education Program is to improve the lifespan of the Tigua community by promoting healthy lifestyles that reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

 The programs currently being offered include diabetes case management, prenatal education and youth prevention education on HIV/AIDS.
