The IMPACT Program aims to connect with the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo (YDSP) community members pursuing continuing higher education while providing individuals with essential tools to succeed in a rewarding career.
The IMPACT Program delivers opportunities for community members. It assists students in reaching their full potential as responsible tribal citizens and leaders by providing essential cultural values and life skills to ensure the success and sustainability of future generations through their efforts in postsecondary education.
The IMPACT Program provides services to high school students such as:
The YDSP Tribal Council Scholarship recognizes student leadership and achievements and encourages academic excellence. The scholarship is available to all YDSP graduating high school seniors who reside in the Tribe’s service area (El Paso/Hudspeth County/Doña Ana County). Scholarship recipients must enroll in an accredited institution within one year of graduation.

The YDSP Higher Education Scholarship assists YDSP higher education students with tuition costs but is not considered the total funding source for higher education tuition costs. The Higher Education Scholarship is a need-based award to be used towards an accredited 2-year and/or 4-year college/university degree. It is available to YDSP members in El Paso or Hudspeth County. YDSP members who reside in Doña Ana County are eligible for the Doña Ana Higher Education Scholarship.
