Mission - It is the mission of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Tigua Indian Employment and Training Program to provide quality employment and training services to Native Americans in West Texas and to join forces with workforce development boards, corresponding services providers and employers to ensure that participants are employed in well paying jobs with progressive career opportunities.

Overview - The Ysleta del Sur Pueblo (YDSP) Tigua Employment and Training Program (TIETP) serves low income, unemployed or underemployed Native Americans in 122 counties in the western half of Texas.  The program is operated by the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo, a federal recognized Indian tribe and is funded by the Department of Labor Workforce Investment Act Section 166 Indian and Native American Programs.  Since its inception in 1979, the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Tigua Employment and Training Program has been at the forefront of creating job opportunities for Native Americans living throughout West Texas and on reservations within the region.
