Tribal Court and Records

The Tribal Court and Records (TCR) department is comprised of two divisions, Tribal Court and Tribal Records. The first division, Tribal Court, serves and exercises judicial jurisdiction over reservation residents as well as the general public that visit the reservation. It executes its duties through judicial proceedings through the Tribes Code of Laws, Administrative Support and Court Clerk Services. The Court strives to be an impartial venue in resolving conflicts which reflect tribal customs and traditions. The second division, Tribal Records, is a primary direct service provider for the Tribal Membership. A critical function of the Tribal Records is the enrollment of new members and updating annual membership records, thus making it a primary agency for capturing tribal demographic data. The Tribal Court and Records department serves as an extension to the tribal government and as a primary direct service provider to the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo community.
